In case you were buried under a rock last night, it was Oscar night! I enjoy checking out the designer gowns year to year and which of those are the “best” and the “worst.” Just chalk that up to a strange little amusement. I rarely have a chance to see the nominated films before the big night – nor would I always want to. I am not a fan of “dark thrillers,” which is how “No Country for Old Men” was described. However, I have a quick question. Is it just me or does Javier Bardem look like Jeffery Dean Morgan’s long lost brother? Jeffrey Dean Morgan, for those of you who aren’t Grey’s Anatomy fans, is the actor who portrayed a heart patient and was the target of Izzy’s affection, Denny Duquette.

Oh my goodness yes! I was watching “The Dancer Upstairs” with Javier Bardem in it, unknowingly I kept calling him Jeffrey Dean Morgan until I checked the Info and on the list of actors it read Bardem’s name. I hate to Google them both right away just to make sure I wasn’t crazy (that’s how I ran into this site) and low and behold they are different people! Both delicious by the way!

I totally agree that these two men are dead ringers for each other! I was watching “P.S. I love you” and thought that Javier was playing William, but that was Jeffery. I had to look it up on IMDB! Wow, that surprised me!

I totally agree! I thought Denny was played by Javier but I couldn’t find the Grey’s Anatomy listings on imdb so I googled Denny’s name and found out it was Jeffery! I think Jeffery is much sexier, and I loved P.S. I love you.

if you think thats weird he looks like robert downey jr as well! (well in my opion they both look like him) i was watching Love in the Time of Cholera with Javier Bardem and i swore the whole time i thought it was Robert Downy jr!

I saw “no country for old man” with javier bardem, than i saw “ps i love you” and “the accidental husband” with jeffrey dean morgan. I would swear it was javier bardem.

I thought they were one in the same… In fact, that is how I found your comments. I was looking up Javier to see if he played Denny on Greys. I just saw, The Sea Inside, which I enjoyed. BTW, did not like, Old County… and, always like Greys…
